JOHN MINNIS: Q1 PROPERTY PRICES RISE IN LINE WITH STRONG MARKET PERFORMANCE
The latest NI House Price Index report published by Land & Property Services, assisted by the Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency, has revealed average house prices across Northern Ireland increased throughout the first quarter of 2024, with the average property price recorded at £178,499.

Despite an increase of 0.4% on the figures for Q4 2023, Northern Ireland properties are currently over £100,000 lower than the average UK house price for Q1 2024.

Commenting on this data, John Minnis, Company Director at leading Northern Ireland estate agent, John Minnis Estate Agents, said:

“As expected, the Northern Ireland property market performed strongly throughout Q1 2024, and we are confident that this trend will continue throughout Q2.

“We are witnessing sustained high levels of demand across our five-branch network in Northern Ireland, owing to improved buyer and seller confidence, meaning this is the perfect time to list property and expand the current supply available on the market.

“Average house prices in Northern Ireland have been recorded at just under £180,000, making it one of the most affordable regions in the UK for residential property purchases.

“However, it is important to remember that this is a favourable market for both buyers and sellers, with the majority of properties listed with John Minnis continuing to sell at or above asking price.

“As always, we recommend that those hoping to buy or sell property contact a trusted estate agent as their first priority. At John Minnis, our experienced team is ready and willing to provide expert advice and support.”
